THUS, THE INHIBITORY EFFECTS OF BMP-7 ON PROGRESSION OF BREAST CANCER BONE METASTASIS MAY PRIMARILY BE CAUSED BY DIRECT EFFECTS ON THE CANCER CELLS. (This thesis).. 3.. INHIBITING TGF-β SIGNALING WITH A SPECIFIC TGF-β RECEPTOR KINASE I N H I B I TO R D I S RU P T S TG F - β - I N D U C E D E P I T H E L I A L - M E S E N C H Y M A L TRANSITION. (This thesis).. 4..
