1. De functie van de lever is complex, en er is niet één test die de totale lever functie weergeeft. (dit proefschrift)

2. Naast CT-volumetrie is 99m_{Tc-mebrofenin hepatobiliaire scintigrafie een waardevolle}

kwantitatieve leverfunctie test om te bepalen of een leveroperatie veilig kan worden uitgevoerd. (dit proefschrift)

3. Vena porta embolisatie kan veilig en efficiënt worden toegepast in patiënten met afwijkend lever parenchym. (dit proefschrift)

4. Galzuren hebben een voorspellende waarde ten aanzien van de hypertrofierespons na vena porta embolisatie. (dit proefschrift)

5. Vena porta embolisatie (VPE) leidt tot versnelde tumorgroei in de lever. (dit proefschrift)
