1. Voor de implementatie van focale therapie als behandeling van gelokaliseerd prostaatcarcinoom zijn gestandaardiseerde protocollen voor patiënt selectie,
uitvoering van behandeling en follow-up essentiële voorwaarden. – hoofdstuk 2 t/m 5
2. Focale therapie kan worden toegepast als een vorm van “super-active” surveillance voor patiënten met middelhoog risico prostaatkanker.
3. De interobserver variabiliteit van de PI-RADS v2.0 onder radiologen is op zijn hoogst middelmatig en is ongeveer gelijk aan die van de gouden standaard, de Gleason score onder pathologen. – hoofdstuk 6
