CURRICUlUM VITAE
Ronak Delewi werd op 02 juni 1985 geboren in Naarden. Na de middelbare school in Laren is zij in 2003 begonnen met de studie Geneeskunde in Amsterdam. De studie werd kort onderbroken om lessen biostatistiek te volgen aan de Harvard Universiteit in Boston. Het onderwijs op Harvard inspireerde Ronak om de master Klinische Epidemiologie (Evidence Based Practice) te gaan volgen. In 2009 voltooide Ronak de Geneeskunde-studie cum laude. Tijdens de studie was Ronak al actief in het cardiologisch onderzoek en in 2009 startte zij officieel met haar promotietraject “Percutaneous coronary intervention in acute myocardial infarction: from procedural considerations to long term outcomes“ aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2011 behaalde zij ook haar master Klinische Epidemiologie. Gedurende het promotietraject wist Ronak twee persoonsgebonden beurzen te verkrijgen bij de Hartstichting en ZonMW. Ook heeft ze zitting gehad in het bestuur van de promovendi-vereniging APPROVE. In oktober 2012 is Ronak gestart met de opleiding tot cardioloog bij de afdeling Interne Geneeskunde in het Academisch Medisch Centrum onder leiding van prof. dr. J.B.L. Hoekstra. Nu vervolgt zij de opleiding tot cardioloog op de afdeling Cardiologie onder leiding van dr. R.B.A. van den Brink.
