Verdeling en onafhankelijkheid van
kwadratensommen in de variantie-analyse.
R. Doornbos
o.

Stelling 2

Speciaal geval:

In het bijzonder: A = P1 , B = P2, orthogonale projectoren op onderling loodrechte
deelruimten.
Stelling 3

JL'AJ.l (L.M.
2. De tweevoudige variant ie-analyse
We beschouwen 4 gevallen:
a. Vaste nivo's
b. Stochastische nivo's
c. Gemengd model
d. Geneste proefopzet.
waarbij in het geneste geval, met B : A geldt:
De corresponderende splitsing van de vrijheidsgraden is
abn - 1= (a - 1)
+
(b - 1)+
(a - 1)(b - 1)+
Zoals in L.M. stelt P:=
.!.uu'
de orthogonale projector voor opu
:= {l, ... , l}', zodat nPy =
{y, ..., y}'.

(i
Verder is
SSA = y'(PA - P)y SSB = y'(PB - P)y
SSR = y'(I - PAB)y
bV

te vervangen door (7~.
Deze verwachtingen zijn dan:

Hierbij levert J-t' AJ-t steeds de uidtrukkingen in 1:a~, 1:/3; en 1:(a/3)~j op, terwijl sp AV de variantie-componenten geeft.
Neem by.
Dus SSA/(nbCT~
