CURRICULUM vITAE

Anders van Thuijl was born on May 5, 1977 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He attended sec-ondary school in Wassenaar (Rijnlands Lyceum) and completed in 1995. In the same year he started his study at the Medical School of the University of Amsterdam. He graduated as a medical doctor in 2003. After a residency in Pae-diatrics in the Zaans Medical Center in Zaandam he started his postgraduate program (PhD) in 2005 at the department of Pediatric Respiratory Medicine and Allergy, Emma Children’s Hospital

AMC in Amsterdam. After a residency in Paediatrics in the Medical Center Alk-maar (2010) and in the Leiden University Medical Center (2011), he commenced his official training in Paediatrics in January 2012 at the department of Prof. dr. R.J.B.J. Gemke in the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam.

Anders van Thuijl lives together with Mariëlle van Well and they have three children: Anne, Isabelle and Pepijn. They live in Amsterdam.
