In conclusion, this study contributes to Conflict literature and Feedback literature. It provides evidence and insights on how Global Identity enhances Perceived Proximity and in turn how Perceived Proximity attenuates the negative effects of Relational Conflict and increases the positive effects of Feedback Inquiry of team members in multicultural virtual teams.

Practitioners can use the insights derived from this study to effectively manage multicultural virtual teams in online global tech organizations.
